Story

Testing an experimental hyper-drive goes wrong causing the ship to warped into another part of space.

Your ship emerges from the warp travel to a distant star system with a couple of planets and crystal deposits, and also with a damaged hyper-drive. 

Luckily, your scientists onboard know what exactly went wrong and have run successful simulations.

Your main objective is to rebuild your hyper-drive to get back home

Sol Explorer is a fun little space adventure game with strategy and action mechanics. It features a terminal input to make you feel like a commander on a futuristic spaceship. Enjoy the short but engaging story and gameplay with unit building, resource collection and defending your ship against enemy units and stray asteroids.

Footnote

This game is a quick one you can knock out in an hour or less. I created it as a fun little experiment for a game engine I built. I really want to turn this into a bigger universe with a deeper story and more complex interactions. I am open to any suggestions, criticism  and guidance in the comments section below.
